I started playing again after a long time away and have been tooling around a little on my level 87 hunter. I had no real idea about traits. I'd set them at some point but hadn't really given them much thought since then.
When I did an instance today, though, I discovered that this was a Bad Moveā¢. It was a solo one and didn't seem like something that would give me trouble. It was throwing an archer and a warrior at me at once but I found myself really struggling. I died several times and in the end I just gave up.
So I moved on to another area for around my level and found myself being slaughtered in the second wave of a similar 'one archer, one warrior' battle. At this point I lamented on the world channel and someone told me to go blue line instead of all red which I had (it's not great for soloing, apparently). I did but it still wasn't that great and I was still getting destroyed. I just don't have the health and I can't really stay out of enemy range even while running around due to the blue line's not requiring you to stand still for induction.
My question is pretty simple: how I hunter now?
It's my only high level character (the only other I have is 40-something and a warden) and I'd really rather not go back and play a different class because I'm too much of a 'disgusting casual' to be able to play the class I initially picked because it was fun and easy for soloing.
TL;DR - Help. My hunter can't solo anymore.
EDIT: I started playing on my L43 Warden last night and was soloing L48 to L50 mobs without even feeling like it was a close call. That's a lot of fun.
